Using our website and services
Terms of Use
Last updated: September 7, 2026
These Terms of Use apply to your use of the Meta Bodyworks website, online booking links, forms, educational content and related online services.
By using this website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please discontinue using the website.
Important health information
Website content and chatbot responses are provided for general information only. They are not medical advice and do not replace an individual assessment by an appropriate healthcare professional.
1. About Meta Bodyworks
Meta Bodyworks provides Registered Massage Therapy, holistic wellness services, movement classes, educational programs and related resources in Ontario. The specific practitioner, location and terms applicable to a service are shown during booking or registration.
2. Informational Content
Articles, videos, course previews, frequently asked questions and other website materials are general educational information. They are not intended to diagnose, treat or prevent a health condition.
Do not delay seeking appropriate healthcare because of information found on this website. Individual results and responses to treatment or wellness practices vary.
3. Emergencies
This website, its contact form and chatbot are not emergency services. If you believe you are experiencing an emergency, call 911 or seek immediate assistance from an appropriate emergency service.
4. Online Booking
Online booking is provided through a third-party practice-management platform. You are responsible for reviewing the practitioner, service, clinic location, date and time before confirming an appointment.
An appointment is not confirmed until the booking system provides confirmation. Availability shown online may change before a booking is completed.
5. Intake, Consent and Treatment
Booking an appointment does not by itself constitute consent to assessment or treatment. Your practitioner will obtain and document appropriate consent before providing care.
You are responsible for providing information that is accurate and reasonably necessary for safe service. You may ask questions, request changes or withdraw consent at any time.
6. Fees and Payment
Current fees are displayed during booking, registration or purchase. Applicable taxes and any additional terms will be shown before completion where required.
You are responsible for amounts not paid by an insurer or another third party.
7. Direct Billing and Insurance
Direct billing may be available for eligible Registered Massage Therapy appointments. It is offered as a convenience and does not guarantee that an insurer will approve or pay a claim.
Insurance providers determine coverage and eligibility. You remain responsible for verifying your benefits and paying any remaining balance.
8. Cancellations and Missed Appointments
Appointments are subject to our Cancellation & Appointment Policy . Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice when cancelling or rescheduling unless different terms are shown for a particular program or purchase.
9. Classes, Courses and Educational Programs
Eligibility, schedules, completion requirements, certification conditions and refund terms may differ between programs. Any terms displayed during registration form part of your agreement for that program.
Completing a course does not grant a healthcare credential or authority to practise a regulated profession unless this is expressly stated and legally recognized.
10. Website Chatbot
The website chatbot provides automated general information. Its responses may be incomplete, inaccurate or unsuitable for your circumstances.
Do not use the chatbot for diagnosis, urgent concerns or treatment decisions. Do not enter health histories, symptoms, insurance numbers or other sensitive personal information.
